What counts is the real volume of the part, not the box around it. A part that's hollow inside costs less than a solid one.
PLA and PETG are the cheapest. Technical materials cost a little more, carbon-fibre composites about three times as much.
The quantity discount grows automatically: from the second part up you pay less per part, up to 30% less on series.
If you already have the file you only pay for printing. If we design it, the drawing is paid once, from €19 for simple parts.
For one or a few parts a service almost always costs less than a printer; for hundreds of prints a year the printer pays for itself. The comparison, in short:

3D printing job
I trusted Marcello with a 3D printing job and, from start to delivery, he was helpful, serious and reliable.
I'll definitely go back to him for other jobs ❤️Translated ·

Michael Schumacher F1 rear wing
Excellent seller, serious and reliable. I bought a 3D-printed rear wing from Schumacher's F1 car, it's beautiful. I asked for two custom shelf brackets so I could hang it on a corner wall, and he did exactly what I asked. Everything perfect, the piece arrived within the stated time. What more can I say, I highly recommend him!!!Translated ·
Many services charge a minimum order or a fixed setup fee: on a small part that's what drives the bill up. We don't, so if you need a single clip you pay for the clip.
The price list scales with volume: the first cubic centimetres cost more (preparation and machine time), the following ones much less. That's why large parts have a much lower price per cubic centimetre than small ones.
A small part in PLA, like a clip or a spacer, costs from about one euro to a few euros. There's no minimum order or setup fee.
No. You can order a single small part and only pay for that.
Shipping within the EU costs €5 and takes 3-5 working days. For the UK, Switzerland and the rest of the world the cost is shown in the quote.
Design is added to the print: for simple parts it starts at €19 and is paid once.
The quote tool calculates the price from the real geometry of the file and you see it immediately. For complex files or without a file we confirm the price by hand within 24 working hours.
They are final prices: we operate under the Italian flat-rate scheme, so there's no VAT to add. We also invoice companies.
For one or a few parts, no: an entry-level printer costs €200-500, then you need filaments, trials and time to learn. It pays off if you print often. For single parts, spares or technical materials a service with no minimum order costs less.
Because the first cubic centimetres include preparation and fixed machine time. Beyond that threshold the price list drops a lot, so a large part in one piece has a lower price per cm³ than a small one.
